Ingredients

Honey | 1/3 cup | Rich in antioxidants. Helps to suppress coughs. |
Dates/Raisins (optional) | 7 | They're antioxidant-abundant and an excellent source of fiber. They relieve constipation, boost energy, improve eyesight, treat anaemia, reduce cholesterol level etc. |
Onions | 2 | Antibacterial and anti-inflammatory. Effective to reduce fever. |
Garlic | 7 cloves | Contains potassium, phosphorus, and a significant amount of vitamin C and B, as well as calcium and protein. Garlic is a natural antibiotic. |
Ginger | 1/2 cup | Falls under the herbs that are aromatic. These herbs stimulate the nervous system, causing an increase in the systematic function of the body as well as an increase of activity on a cellular level. They are a natural antibiotic. |
Orange | 1 | High in vitamin C and A. |
Lemon | 1 | Falls under the group of herbs that are astringent. Works good for the circulatory system and balances the pH in the body. Lemon is also high in vitamin C. |
Preparation Method:
1. Wash and cut the orange, onions, garlic and ginger into small pieces so that they'll blend easily.
2. Place all of the ingredients into your blender and blend until smooth. Blend for approximately 3 minutes.
3. Transfer the mixture into a glass jar and keep the mixture refrigerated.
4. Add two tablespoons to one cup of hot water (ALWAYS USE CLEAN UTENSILS) and mix.
5. Drink two times daily, or three times depending on symptoms.
